A major AEW star caught fans' attention after sharing a surprise throwback to a major title match he had in WWE.That star is Dax Harwood, one-half of FTR alongside Cash Wheeler. Harwood and Wheeler, who are former two-time AEW World Tag Team champions, are a highly respected tag team not just in the Jacksonville-based promotion but worldwide, having wrestled in multiple promotions, including WWE. In the Stamford-based promotion, the duo competed from 2014 to 2020 under the ring names Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, starting in NXT and gradually moving up to the main roster. During their NXT days, the team, then known as The Revival, won the NXT Tag Team Championships in 2015 and successfully defended them multiple times. However, one of their most acclaimed matches was their title loss to Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa (now known as DIY) in a two-out-of-three falls match at NXT TakeOver: Toronto in 2016. Earlier today, Harwood recalled that match and posted a throwback on X.In his post, the All Elite Wrestling star shared a couple of photos, one of him and Wheeler holding the tag titles, and the other mid-action from the match."9 years ago, today," Dax wrote on XCheck out his post below:AEW star Dax Harwood shared another WWE throwback earlier todayDax Harwood is known for being open and honest on social media.
