Top AEW star sends a bold message following first title defense: "I am the most  interchangeable one"

A top AEW star recently sent a bold message to the fans following a successful title defense. They put the entire locker room on notice with their comments, calling themselves the most interchangeable stars in the Jacksonville-based promotion.

AEW National Champion Ricochet recently defended his title against Dalton Castle at ROH Final Battle pay-per-view. He put on an intense match-up and successfully defended his title in his first defence. That massive win at ROH pay-per-view has boosted The Lightskin Kingpin's confidence, and he has some bold words to say following that.

Speaking with The Sportster, the former WWE star boasted himself as the top star in All Elite Wrestling. He said that he is bigger than any other title in the Jacksonville-based promotion, even bigger than the World Championship. Additionally, Ricochet stated that he is the most marketable star in the company, which is why Tony Khan has decided to put the title on his shoulder.

"You got the Women’s World. You got the Men’s World, and you got this one, and I think out of all the people in the company, I think I am the most marketable. I am the most profitable. I am the most interchangeable one, along with whether it’s pop culture, whatever it is, I’m the most marketable and this title is the prettiest one," said Ricochet. [H/T: Fightful]

Ricochet says The Demand is coming for all the gold in AEW

Ricochet has made it clear that he is coming after every title in All Elite Wrestling. With his recent comments, The Lightskin Kingpin claimed that The Demand is looking to get as much gold as they can in the coming months in the company.

Speaking with The Sportster, the former WWE star claimed that they have already defeated The Opps in the company. Therefore, there would be no problem for The Demand to defeat them again and take the AEW World Trios Championship. Meanwhile, he added that AEW World Champion Samoa Joe is also on their list as their next target.

"We beat The Opps when they were at their best. Who knows? For me, personally, I think when the time is right, that absolutely is on the list of things. At the same time, FTR is on the list. At the same time, Mark Briscoe is on the list. Okada is on the list, and right now, Samoa Joe is on the list. So all of them," said Ricochet. [H/T: Sportster]
