Wrestling veteran made an interesting pitch for AEW star Chris Jericho should he return to WWE
While Chris Jericho confirmed that he is currently a part of AEW, a lot of fans and experts believe he would return to WWE once his contract expires in December 2025. Wrestling veteran Vince Russo pitched the idea of making Jericho an authority figure and even a part of the creative team if he came back to the Stamford-based promotion.
“Coach, if it were up to me, because Jericho is such a smart individual, he’s been around the block. He’s seen it all. What I would do is, Chris, you are going to come in an authority role over both brands. You are going to be on both of the shows. And not only that, Chris, I’m going to involve you in the creative. I’m going to ask you, if this were a shoot, what would Chris Jericho be booking? That is what I would do," Russo said. [H/T - TJR Wrestling]
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Jericho, the first-ever Undisputed Champion.
