A former AEW champion has discussed his health status after a series of unfortunate events. Darby Allin has been one of the top stars of the Jacksonville-based promotion. Fans love him because of his daring and ruthless attitude. However, his injury a few days ago has sidelined him from in-ring action.
The former TNT Champion reportedly injured his head during a contest with Kevin Knight in his first match for the Continental Classic. On last week's Collision edition, the Relentless star revealed that he won't be able to perform in the tournament anymore due to his health. Jack Perry will replace him in the tourney.
While speaking on 93.7 The Fan, Darby Allin claimed he feels great right now despite not being medically cleared.
“I feel [like] a million bucks right now, I’m not lying. I’m just not medically cleared, they’re saving me from me, which is fine, which is good. But at the end of the day, I feel amazing right now," he said. [H/T - Fightful]

An AEW star vents frustration as Darby Allin gets sidelined
Mike Bailey was going to face the former TNT Champion somewhere down the line, as they were part of the Gold League in the Continental Classic.
In his vlog, the Speedball said he was very excited to face Darby Allin in their first-ever one-on-one match. However, he is now left disappointed after the Relentless star announced his injury.
"Things got shaken up in the Gold League, and as was announced on Collision, Darby Allin is out. That is very unfortunate because I was very very much looking forward to being in the ring for the very first time ever, not just in AEW, ever with Darby Allin. Match was going to be nuts for sure. I'm disappointed that I don't get to wrestle Darby Allin," he said.
It remains to be seen when Darby Allin will return to AEW.
