We are just hours away from this year's AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming, and Tony Khan seems to be leaving no stone unturned in its promotion. The show features some marquee matches, including World Champion Samoa Joe defending his title against Eddie Kingston and the Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) facing the Timeless Love Bombs (Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa) in the finals of the Women's Tag Team Titles tournament to crown the inaugural champions. While the anticipation for the event builds, Tony Khan has made another bold claim about the show, calling it the "biggest show of the year".

Disco Inferno says AEW President Tony Khan has given up on Darby Allin

In a recent appearance on Keepin' it 100 Official, wrestling veteran Disco Inferno claimed that Tony Khan may not want to push Darby Allin anymore, as the former TNT champion has now become unreliable and injury-prone. The Daredevil is currently on hiatus from the Jacksonville-based promotion due to an undisclosed injury he suffered while competing in the Continental Classic tournament.

"I wonder if Tony looked at Darby doing that Mount Everest climb, he's like, 'All right, how much can I invest in this guy? (...) Do you think that might have gone through Tony's mind with Darby Allin? And he's just not going to push him to that level ever again because of his injury potential and the fact that he says 'Hey, I'm gonna go climb Mount Everest' in the middle of the contract with this company," he said. It remains to be seen when Darby Allin will return to in-ring action in AEW following his latest setback.
