AEW President Tony Khan made a huge revelation following the blockbuster Full Gear event this Saturday. The pay-per-view featured exciting matches and multiple title changes. Mark Briscoe, Samoa Joe, Ricochet, and FTR all captured titles that night. One of the biggest highlights of the show was Swerve Strickland's return.Now that Full Gear is in the books, Tony Khan is focused on AEW's future. Fans are excited for the upcoming edition of Dynamite as it will mark the start of the annual Continental Classic tournament. The current Continental Champion is Kazuchika Okada. The Conglomeration member stood tall over The One True King. However, the No Holds Barred match did more damage to Kyle than to Jon. Following the contest, O'Reilly was checked by the doctors.While speaking at Full Gear's media scrum, Tony Khan revealed that Kyle wanted to take part in this year's Continental Classic tournament. However, he wouldn't because he might be dealing with injuries following the violent match."Kyle O’Reilly will probably be out of action and it’s unfortunate because Kyle did want to wrestle in the Continental Classic he was really excited about it… I think Kyle’s probably not going to be cleared and will probably have to deal with some injuries coming out of what was an incredible no-holds-barred match," said Khan.It remains to be seen who the participants in the 2025 Continental Classic will be.
