AEW President Tony Khan recently announced that a major star will have to vacate her spot due to injury. Queen Aminata has been one of the most promising talents on TV. Apart from ROH, she has gained momentum on AEW Dynamite. She was about to be part of the first-ever women's Blood and Guts match. However, due to her neck issues, she was pulled from the contest.The 32-year-old star was part of the inaugural ROH Women's Pure Championship Tournament and even made it to the semifinals. She was scheduled to face Deonna Purrazzo in the race to the finals. However, it seems like the match may not take place.During the ROH Final Battle media call, AEW President Tony Khan revealed that Queen Aminata will forfeit her spot in the tournament, as she is not medically cleared to wrestle.“Unfortunately, and it’s unexpected because we thought she would be cleared by now, Queen Aminata is still dealing with the aftereffects of that injury. Queen Aminata was not cleared and she will have to forfeit. We’ve given her as much time as I could to have her come back and wrestle. The plan was to tape the semifinals last night. The doctors would not clear her to do that match," he said. And because of that, I got taken out of the match today, and that resulted in me being taken out of Blood & Guts," she said.It remains to be seen when the promising star will get back in the squared circle.
