The AEW President, Tony Khan called out multiple wrestling sites for reporting fake news regarding Collision this week. Collision was on a special night this week, rather than usual Saturdays.
This week, AEW Collision aired on Thursday for the special Thanksgiving night. As the show was taped, many wrestling news outlets posted spoilers for the show before it aired. However, the spoilers turned out to be inaccurate when the show actually aired on TV. Tony Khan was not pleased with the spoilers being posted.
Taking to the X social media platform, Tony called out all the top sites for reporting fake news, stating that all those Collision spoilers were fake:
"It’s apparent that those #AEWCollision spoilers about tonight’s show were fake news! It’s just my opinion, I think it’s an example of why I don’t believe every rumor I see online. How can top sites get multiple match results wrong posting spoilers as “news” on a network tv show?" Khan wrote.
