Former WWE star Andrade is arguably a modern-day great. His first run in World Wrestling Entertainment was from 2015 to 2021. After this stint ended, he signed with All Elite Wrestling. He eventually returned to the Stamford-based promotion in 2024. However, his second run there ended earlier this year.The former NXT Champion returned to All Elite Wrestling on the sixth anniversary episode of Dynamite last month. He showed up in a mask and brutally attacked Kenny Omega, and joined The Don Callis Family. After that, he disappeared from AEW TV. Eventually, it was reported that WWE had sent AEW a cease-and-desist letter because the 36-year-old had seemingly violated a non-compete clause.
