Toni Storm says 37-year-old star is her ‘wife’

Former AEW Women's World Champion Toni Storm said that a popular star is her wife during this week's Dynamite. The Timeless One made the statement while in her onscreen character.

Toni Storm says that the 37-year-old AEW star, Mina Shirakawa, is her wife. Toni and Mina have been paired onscreen for quite some time, and the two are competing together in the ongoing Women's World Tag Team Championship tournament. Their tag team was officially named "Timeless Love Bombs" recently as well.

This week on Dynamite, Mina Shirakawa competed in a singles match against Megan Bayne while Storm was on commentary. The Timeless One deemed Shirakawa as her wife while in character. Toni is married to the AEW star, Juice Robinson, in real life.

She stated the following while on commentary:

"I'm here for one thing only, and that's the love that I have for my beautiful wife, Mina Shirakawa."

The commentary team was shocked to hear the above statement, and Tony Schiavone also went on to congratulate Storm for the same before Toni told Schiavone to shut up. Speaking of the match, Mina Shirakawa failed to capture the win over Megan Bayne.

WWE veteran recently made a huge claim about Toni Storm

WWE veteran and current AEW announcer Taz recently claimed that there will never be another Toni Storm on television. Speaking on Going Ringside, Taz stated the following:

“I don't think there'll ever be another Toni Storm in any realm of television, not just pro wrestling. She is the most unique, creative, and talented lady you're going to meet. Not just in the ring as an athlete, but as a performer, what she does and her character. I think that's the case with Toni. It's tough for people to relate to the Storm character, the Timeless One. But her entertainment, and how she brings out entertainment, and what she does, and her charisma, it makes [sic] a connection to the audience."

Meanwhile, Storm is slated to compete in the first-ever women's Blood and Guts match on Dynamite next week. It remains to be seen what's next for the former AEW Women's World Champion.
