A former WWE star made her return on Dynamite this week, and the AEW Women's World Champion, Kris Statlander, reacted. The two were involved in an altercation this past Wednesday.Kris Statlander has a message for the ex-WWE NXT Champion, Athena (fka Ember Moon). This past Wednesday on Dynamite, Statlander got into a brawl with the TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. Statlander is slated to defend her AEW Women's World title against Mercedes at the Full Gear 2025 pay-per-view on November 22.During the brawl between Kris Statlander and Mercedes Mone, Athena surprisingly showed up at the ringside and assisted her tag team partner, Mercedes, in taking out Statlander. It was Athena's return to a Dynamite arena after over two months. Athena revealed that Tony Khan has considered one, but it's all about the timing: “Absolutely. I know TK has absolutely thought about that; it’s just about timing when it comes to those things. We have the best roster in the world. I know everybody says it, but we actually do have the best roster in the world. I do know that is on his brain, it’s been on his brain since I have been in AEW at least. It’s just about timing.”Only time will tell whether a women's-only event similar to WWE Evolution will take place in AEW.
