“That is so freaking irresponsible man”- WWE veteran brutally bashes Will Ospreay for his recent comments

A recent online comment by Will Ospreay has upset many, including a WWE veteran who hit out at the star for his remarks.

Will Ospreay is undoubtedly one of AEW's biggest talents. However, the Aerial Assassin has been on a hiatus due to injury-related issues since last appearing on AEW programming at Forbidden Door 2025. Amid his absence, Ospreay has been active on social media, sharing generic personal and professional updates. However, a recent comment he made on X has been deemed controversial and sparked discussion among many in the wrestling industry, including WWE veteran Vince Russo, who bashed the former International Champion for it.

Last week, a popular page on X posted a clip of kids performing wrestling moves at home. The post caught Ospreay's attention, and he reposted it with a comment saying he supported it.

This became a discussion point in the latest edition of Vince Russo's The Band, where the veteran, joined by Al Snow and Jeff Lane, blasted Ospreay for his opinion.

"One kid came close to landing on his neck. Will could tell the parents of the crippled child that he fully supports this... That is so freaking irresponsible man." (3:56 - 4:26)

WWE legend Al Snow then shared his opinion on the video, suggesting that Ospreay might be supporting the passion and spirit of wrestling that the children embody, to which Vince Russo responded that he should be saying those exact words instead.

"That's what he needs to say, that's exactly what he needs to say," Russo said. (4:46-4:53)

Later in the video, the veteran asked Al Snow what happens if a kid gets seriously hurt and then somebody pulls up Ospreay's comment.

"What happens if somebody gets seriously hurt, and then we pull this thing up from Will Opsreay, who is a professional signed by AEW, who says I fully support this?" Russo asked. (7:37-7:47)

In a recent appearance on the Ariel Helwani Show, former WWE personality Vince Russo shared his opinion on Triple H and Tony Khan's booking decisions for their respective promotions. The veteran said:
