HOOK shocked the entire world when he turned heel at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view. After a major revelation about his change in attitude, WWE legend Taz responded to his son's switch in allegiance. The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil played a pivotal role in the final moments of a brutal Steel Cage match between Hangman Adam Page and Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship. He grabbed the title and took down The Anxious Millennial Cowboy, allowing Joe to score the pinfall and become the new champion. On the November 26 edition of Dynamite, Joe came out with The Opps and HOOK, surrounded by their Opps Dojo members. The Samoan Submission Machine revealed that the plan had been in place for months and showed a video package that hinted that HOOK had always been part of their squad. The entire segment ended in a massive fight as Hangman Adam Page and the recently returned Swerve Strickland came down to the ring and took out all members of The Opps Dojo. However, after the segment, HOOK's father and AEW commentator Taz took to his X account to applaud The Opps for working everyone for months with their perfectly executed plan."They worked everyone for months haha."taz @OfficialTAZLINKThey worked everyone for months hahaAEW commentator Taz gave an update on his returnTaz has been a part of the All Elite Wrestling commentary desk for years.
