It's been a few months since fans saw Swerve Strickland perform in Tony Khan's promotion. The former AEW World Champion was last seen competing at Forbidden Door 2025, where he unsuccessfully challenged for Kazuchika Okada's Unified title. After the match, Strickland went away to recover from his long-standing meniscus injury, which required surgery. Meanwhile, the Mogul has been active on social media, keeping his fans updated during his recovery. Earlier today, he seemingly gave a health update, but in typical Swerve style, he kept it cryptic.

On X, Swerve posted that he believes staying healthy is a skill. This open-ended statement has led to speculation about whether he's talking about the challenges he's faced during his recovery or if he's subtly criticizing a wrestling talent who may have gotten injured recently. That said, only Swerve knows what he meant.

Swerve Strickland shares cryptic image with AEW World Champion Hangman Page and Will Ospreay

If there are two men with whom Swerve Strickland has a deep history in All Elite Wrestling, they are Hangman Page and Will Ospreay. The Mogul's rivalry with the Aerial Assassin and the Anxious Perennial Cowboy is one of the most celebrated feuds in the history of the Jacksonville-based promotion. However, the three men are currently allies.

Recently, Strickland posted a photo of himself with Ospreay and Page on X. The image appears to be part of an All Elite Wrestling promotional photoshoot designed to highlight the three as the top stars of the promotion. Interestingly, the New Flavor offered no context for sharing the image, making it seem rather cryptic.

It will be interesting to see when fans finally get to see Swerve Strickland back on AEW programming.
