After the match, Swerve Strickland made his highly-anticipated return to programming, and instead of targeting The Cowboy, attacked members of The Opps dojo, causing The King of Television to retreat alongside Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs, and The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil.Since then, both Page and Strickland have stood united against The Opps. Earlier this Wednesday, The Hangman launched a solo ambush on Hook, Shibata, and Hobbs, then issued a challenge to The Wrestler and The Embodiment of Willpower for Dynamite: Winter is Coming. On the latest episode of AEW Collision, Strickland revealed that he had Samoa Joe and the World Championship in his sights but also offered to team up with Page against Shibata and Hobbs next Wednesday.Since then, it has been revealed that Swerve and Hangman will face off against two-thirds of the World Trios Champions at Winter is Coming in a Tornado Tag bout.
