A serious warning has been issued to former AEW World Champion MJF while he is on hiatus. The warning was issued by another top star in response to a surprising statement by a WWE legend.Ex-WWE star and current AEW World Tag Team Champion, Dax Harwood of FTR, issued a warning to Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart was asked about MJF. Being unaware of who the 29-year-old was, he asked, "Who is that?" The Hitman also clarified that he doesn't watch wrestling a lot anymore.Dax Harwood took notice of what Bret Hart said and took to his X/Twitter account. As Harwood has been a fan of Hart for a long time, he warned MJF to be careful in his response to the legend, writing the following in his post:"MJF, choose your response wisely."It will be interesting to see how Maxwell Jacob Friedman responds to Bret Hart's statement.Update on MJF's potential AEW returnMJF has not been on TV since losing to Mark Briscoe at All Out 2025.It was recently reported by Self Made that both Friedman and Swerve Strickland were expected to return by December:"We’re going to get two major returns. By–let’s see here–by the end of the month, AEW is going to have two major stars back. We’re talking about Swerve and MJF here. They have the creative setup for those two guys for December. I expect them to be back by the time we’re in December. And again, we’ll see how they stagger those returns–that’s up to Tony [Khan], and that’s probably something he’s kept close to the vest in terms of who he’s bringing back and at what point. Swerve is good to go, by the way," the report stated.Meanwhile, Swerve Strickland has already made his return at Full Gear 2025, after the main event. Only time will tell when Maxwell Jacob Friedman will be back on TV.
