The aforementioned veteran, who was a former WWE in-ring competitor, is Stevie Richards. The November 24 edition of RAW featured a tag team WarGames Advantage match between The Usos and Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. During the match, Jey Uso and Logan Paul were involved in an evident botch when the YEET man attempted to lift The Maverick for a backbreaker slam. In the end, Paul scored the pinfall via a rollup on Jimmy Uso and won the match for his team.

A fan on social media took notice and took a jab at Stevie Richards, who had called Logan Paul better than the entire AEW roster. Their top star and inaugural National Champion, Ricochet, then added fuel to it by calling Richards "stupid" via his X account.

"Stevie Richards told me this guy is better than Konosuke Takeshita," the fan wrote.

Ricochet responds to AEW star not happy with his win at Full Gear 2025

At the recent Full Gear 2025 pay-per-view, Ricochet entered the Casino Gauntlet match at #3 to determine the inaugural AEW National Champion. He competed against an array of top stars like Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli.

Despite the odds, The One and Only found a perfect opening and nailed Kevin Knight with the Spirit Gun to win the new championship.

However, his win did not sit well with fellow AEW star Ace Austin, who revealed that he was a minute away from entering the match before the former WWE United States Champion scored the pinfall. Ricochet sent a fiery response to Austin on social media.

"Go through a very long and drawn out process and IF you pass you can have a shot," Ricochet wrote on X.

With his first AEW title reign now around his waist, it will be interesting to see his run as a top champion.
