In a surprising turn of events, Renee Paquette revealed a previously unseen aggressive side of herself after attacking and assaulting a popular AEW personality.
Renee Paquette followed her husband, Jon Moxley (formerly Dean Ambrose), to AEW in October 2022 after nearly a decade working for rival WWE. The 40-year-old is known for being a versatile talent, having taken on various roles within both companies, including backstage interviewer, host, commentator, and producer. She is also the host of "Close-Up with Renee Paquette," a recurring podcast series uploaded on AEW's YouTube channel. Despite being married to one of the most violent men in the history of professional wrestling, Paquette has always maintained a calm demeanor on TV and is someone who rarely gets flustered. However, she recently showed an aggressive or unhinged side to her after attacking AEW host RJ City.
RJ City is known for hosting the weekly Hey! (EW) series on the promotion's YouTube. Hours ago, the Jacksonville-based promotion uploaded the final episode of the series, which shows City sitting alone without a guest. The former wrestler then started calling out many of the promotion's personalities, including Renee Paquette. Toward the end of the episode, Paquette appeared in person, attacked City, and told him to "Shut the f**k up."
Renee appears at 9:51 in the video below:
