The match in question ended due to referee stoppage, with Death Riders member Pac securing the win over Mike Bailey, one half of JetSpeed. The Man That Gravity Forgot walked into the Thanksgiving edition of Collision with momentum on his side, having beaten former TNT and tag team champion Darby Allin days earlier at AEW Full Gear 2025. The special Thursday-night episode of the show featured a Gold League bout from the ongoing 2025 Continental Classic, pitting Pac against Mike Bailey. Speedball pushed the former WWE superstar to his absolute limits during their matchup on AEW Collision, matching the latter's explosivity and strength with their own repertoire of kicks and strikes. In the closing stretch of the bout, Bailey appeared to have secured the upper hand on Pac and was poised to deliver the Ultima Weapon. But the Death Riders member dodged the move, and rocked Speedball with a huge lariat, before tying up them up in his Brutalizer submission lock, forcing the referee to put an end to the match. His victory over Bailey earned Pac his first three points in the Gold League of the 2025 C2.
