The former Daniel Bryan joined World Wrestling Entertainment in 2009. His first storyline in the company involved him being an NXT rookie. His on-screen mentor was the Miz, and this angle is quite memorable.

In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, the GOAT talked about being the Miz's rookie. He revealed that even though WWE didn't ask him to, he changed his look for this storyline because he wanted to look as generic as possible.

"I thought it was great, because what you want in WWE is some sort of story. So this is one of the things that I had a hard time with. He continued,

"Their main priority was SmackDown, then they just threw NXT together before that. But I thought this is, and it was, a huge opportunity to be on TV. Bryan Danielson reveals his favourite career moment

In the above interview, Bryan Danielson stated that his favourite career moment was his AEW World Championship triumph at All In 2024.

"A couple of months before my last match, they (his wife and kids) got to be at Wembley at All In. That was by far my favourite moment of my career, just because my kids are old enough to remember it," he said.
