WWE Hall of Famer Adam Copeland (FKA Edge) joined AEW in 2023. He is a former two-time TNT Champion and one of the biggest names in the company. Furthermore, he is considered an all-time great. WWE recently held Survivor Series: WarGames at Petco Park in San Diego, California. The pay-per-view was, unfortunately, quite average. Many worldwide are criticizing the way the matches were booked. Before the show, a few pictures from the sound and light check went viral. These photographs made fans go berserk. The Stamford-based company was caught playing titantrons videos of names such as Edge, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Jinder Mahal, and more. Fans were under the assumption that Triple H would bring back a huge star at Survivor Series based on the leaked pictures mentioned above. However, they were mistaken. World Wrestling Entertainment has reportedly pulled off one of the best pranks of the year. According to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, an official in WWE realised that when they were setting up the stage for Survivor Series, somebody began live-streaming the process. Hence, they decided to have some fun and play the above titantron videos and see if anything got leaked. In this interaction, he said that whoever his last opponent is must take advantage of the situation and become the next big thing. "I want to make sure that whoever it is at the very end, we can put the biggest exclamation point on them possible so they can take that going forward, whoever that is. And I guess just making sure that it sticks. So, you can’t do it for everybody. You have to make sure that when you do it, it’s done right so it can stick, and now that person going forward can have that thing," Adam Copeland said.Hopefully, Tony Khan will make the former Edge the AEW World Champion before he hangs up his boots. Only time will tell what the future holds for him.
