All Elite Wrestling's president is Tony Khan. Ariel Helwani recently interviewed him, and in this conversation, he revealed a potential spoiler. He said that the former International Champion, Will Ospreay, will return next year. He, in fact, is hopeful to see the Ariel Assassin make a comeback in the first half of 2026.

“Will Ospreay is gonna be back in AEW early next year, and I hope it will be in the first half of next year. When Will is on the show every week, it's great for us.” said Khan.

His last match took place at Forbidden Door 2025, where his team, consisting of him, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Darby Allin, and Golden☆Lovers (Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi) defeated Gabe Kidd, Death Riders (Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli), The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) (with Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta) by pinfall. This was a Lights Out Steel Cage match.

Will Ospreay is one of Tony Khan's most trusted names. However, he has only held one title in the company so far: The AEW International Championship.

He is best known for his time in NJPW, where he led United Empire. There, he held the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship once, the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship twice, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship thrice, and the NEVER Openweight Championship once.

The Ariel assassin is also a former RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion and a two-time British Cruiserweight Champion.
