Popular star reveals which title he wants to win in AEW before retiring

Eddie Kingston recently got candid about his career in professional wrestling. The Mad King made his anticipated return to AEW in August following a serious leg injury. He has been open about his struggles while recovering from these issues, making it clear that he is closer to the end of his career than to the beginning.

Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, the 43-year-old star revealed that he wants to become the AEW World Tag Team Champion with either HOOK or Ortiz. He added that it could be an ideal way to benefit the wrestling business to help out a young star. Kingston went on to say that he wants to see All Elite Wrestling grow, and that young guys like HOOK and Ortiz could be ideal choices to carry the company flag.

"Being a Tag Champion with Hook or Ortiz is another goal. And honestly, you know what? When you say most important, honestly, this is me not being a good soldier or anything like that, because I can give a f*ck less. This is about the pro wrestling business," he said.

AEW's Eddie Kingston reveals he wants to wrestle at Budokan Hall in Japan

Eddie Kingston revealed a few more goals he wants to achieve in the world of professional wrestling before he retires. One of them was to wrestle at the iconic venue in Japan, Budokan Hall.

In the same interview with Busted Open Radio, Kingston said that he wants to compete at the Budokan Hall in Japan once before he ends his career. He said it was the same venue where his favorite match between Mitsuharu Misawa and Toshiaki Kawada took place. Therefore, it has a personal connection to him.

"The most important one for me, because of my love for Japanese wrestling, is just to fight in Budokan Hall. Just one time, because that’s where my favorite match happened, 6/3/94 [Mitsuharu] Misawa and [Toshiaki] Kawada," he said.

Furthermore, The Mad King added that he wants to leave professional wrestling in a better position than he found it. Overall, Eddie believes the next few years of his career will be among the most memorable of his life. With that said, it will be interesting to see how things will unfold for the 43-year-old in AEW from here on.
