Popular AEW star sends a message to Naomi after she reveals the gender of her and Jimmy Uso's child

An AEW fan-favorite was one among many to reach out to Naomi after the former Women's Champion revealed the gender of her child with Jimmy Uso. The star in question, Nyla Rose, has been missing from the Tony Khan-led company's weekly television programming for a while now.

The Glow's violent rivalry with Jade Cargill from earlier this year had culminated in a No Holds Barred match at WWE Evolution 2025, which saw the former AEW TBS Champion emerge victorious. Naomi ended up getting the last laugh on the same show, however, as she cashed in her Money in the Bank contract during IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley's Women's World Championship match and captured the belt successfully. She retained the belt in a triple threat against IYO and Rhea on SummerSlam Sunday, but soon afterwards vacated the title in light of her pregnancy announcement.

On the occasion of her 38th birthday, Naomi took to X/Twitter last Sunday to reveal the sex of her child with Jimmy Uso, announcing the duo are expecting to have a boy. The Florida-native's post drew supportive and congratulatory responses from fans and industry peers alike. Among them was AEW's Nyla Rose, who left Naomi a message under the latter's post, wishing her the best on her pregnancy journey.

The Native Beast was last seen on All Elite Wrestling television last year on the November 22 episode of Rampage, where she teamed with Harley Cameron to unsuccessfully battle Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa in tag team competition. However, she did take part in a dark match against Jordan Blade the following month on AEW Dynamite : Holiday Bash 2024.

What has Nyla Rose been up to during her AEW hiatus?

With 2025 drawing to a close, it seems like Nyla Rose could be going without wrestling a single match in All Elite Wrestling this year. Although she performed on the Jericho Cruise earlier this January, an event which AEW co-produced, she has mostly been competing on the independent circuit since then. The last time The American Kaiju was seen in action was this past November at EVE-141 : Elite Encounters, where she lost her EVE Championship to Rhio.

It remains to be seen when Nyla Rose will be brought back to All Elite Wrestling TV.
