Sting reunited with major AEW stars Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana. The Icon officially retired from professional wrestling after his last match at the Revolution 2024 pay-per-view. Since hanging up his boots last year, he has been making sporadic appearances for All Elite Wrestling aside from public appearances.

The Vigilante last appeared during the main event of WrestleDream 2025, where he helped Darby Allin defeat Jon Moxley in an 'I Quit' match. Meanwhile, the WWE Hall of Famer took to his Instagram handle to share some pictures with the former AEW World Champion, Swerve Strickland, and his on-screen manager, Prince Nana, from a recent event.

Swerve Strickland's last match was at the Forbidden Door 2025 event, where he lost to Kazuchika Okada. He hasn't been on TV since because he had to undergo a meniscus surgery. It'll be interesting to see when Swerve will be back on TV alongside Prince Nana.

Sting recently made an announcement about his future

As mentioned earlier, Sting has been making many public appearances, even after his in-ring retirement, for signing events and more. Speaking with The Wrestling Classic two months ago, The Icon announced that there are many more of his public appearances coming in the future.

“The dates, they can’t… they can’t tell by looking at the dates. I’ll look at the camera now. I’m looking at my agent standing behind you guys right now. But the dates that you see online are not necessarily… they’re not done. So, there’s many, many more coming,” The Icon said.

The 66-year-old legend also appeared at AEW WrestleDream last month with a new look. Fans will have to wait and see when The Icon will be back in Tony Khan's promotion.
