One of AEW's most prominently featured performers has been seen with Lana (fka CJ Perry) at a major non-wrestling event. The star in question, Anthony Bowens, used to be one half of The Acclaimed, a team he insists no longer exists despite his continued and begrudging partnership with Max Caster.

CJ Perry had joined AEW in 2023, making her debut at that year's All Out pay-per-view to save her husband, Miro, from Powerhouse Hobbs. She then took part in a brief storyline with The Redeemer, revolving around the latter going after stars the former Ravishing Russian showed interest in managing. This culminated in a singles bout at Worlds End 2023 between Miro and Andrade El Idolo, Perry's client, whom she ultimately betrayed at the PPV to help her spouse win.

This would turn out to be both Miro and CJ's final on-screen AEW appearance. The Mistress of Destruction parted ways with All Elite Wrestling last year, and the former TNT Champion himself negotiated his release from the company this past February. Months later, Miro would return to WWE as Rusev, around the same time when Perry was revealed to have signed a Legends deal with the sports entertainment juggernaut.

The 40-year-old wrestling manager recently attended the world premiere of the James Cameron-directed sci-fi blockbuster Avatar: Fire and Ash. She was spotted with AEW's Anthony Bowens at the event. The Pride of Pro-Wrestling shared a photograph of himself at the premiere alongside Lana and internet personality Markell Washington on his latest Instagram story.

Anthony Bowens recently lost a big-money match in AEW

Despite them not wanting anything to do with each other, Anthony Bowens and Max Caster were forced to team together once again in a $200K four-way tag team bout during the Saturday Tailgate Brawl pre-show ahead of Full Gear 2025, also involving The Outrunners, Big Bill and Bryan Keith, and The Bang Bang Gang.

The duo formerly known as The Acclaimed were unfortunately unable to win the cash prize after Bowens was rolled up by Juice Robinson, who secured the victory for himself and Austin Gunn.

It remains to be seen if The Five-Tool Player will continue his association with the self-proclaimed Best Wrestler Alive moving forward.
