"People were asking me if I got a b**b job" - AEW star addresses major speculation

A top AEW star who's currently missing in action recently turned heads after clarifying a major speculation about her.

That star is Thunder Rosa, who has been on a hiatus from the Jacksonville-based promotion since competing in the Women's Casino Gauntlet Match at AEW: All In. Since then, La Mera Mera has been nursing some undisclosed injuries, although earlier reports did confirm that she was suffering from a major concussion.

Amid her hiatus, the former AEW Women's World Champion has been actively traveling and interacting with fans, and recently showed up at Big Texas Comicon. Later, Rosa recapped her time at the event in her YouTube vlog, noting that she met a couple with whom she discussed her recent weight gain.

For those unaware, Rosa has recently been asked questions about her weight gain, with the star even saying that people ask her whether she’s undergone breast augmentation surgery.

"I just gained six pounds, you guys want me to be fat AF! Girl, I’m packing a lot, you know, in the trunk. The trunk is trunking. People were asking me if I got a b**b job because I gained weight. You know how it is, if you gain weight, where does it go?” said Rosa [ H/T: ITR Wrestling]

AEW star Thunder Rosa recently confirmed that she'll be returning to the ring soon

In a recent interview with Midnight Movie Trash, Thunder Rosa was asked about the projects she has been involved in lately. While discussing these projects, La Mera Mera switched gears to mention that she is not too far away from making a return to the ring.

“I’m actually going to be part of the mega procession of Catrinas, which is in Mexico City in Reforma (...) I’m also doing a lot of work with the NFL and the Texans that’s been a lot of fun and right now I’m just focusing on continuing my rehab for the injuries that I just had a couple months ago and I have really good news. Everything’s going really well so I’m expecting to return to the ring fairly soon," she said. [H/T - Fightful]
