A popular WWE star recently faced backlash over their finisher move. This caught the eye of AEW star Ricochet, who defended the star.Ricochet has been seeing some good times in AEW recently. While the Future of Flight is enjoying some success in the ring, outside it, he caught attention after coming to the defense of WWE star Sol Ruca. Earlier today, a wrestling influencer posted a video on X of Ruca executing her popular finisher, Soul Snatcher, during her match at NXT Deadline. What made the move even more special was that Ruca performed it off the steel steps. However, the influencer called the finisher the worst move in pro-wrestling. Ricochet, meanwhile, disagreed with his comment and said:"Nah bro, that move is cool af!."Following his reply, the One and Only had another exchange with the influencer, who believed that Ruca's finisher hurts her more than the opponent, but Ricochet said that was not true. The former WWE star said this while discussing the reasoning behind Tony Khan's decision to put the National Championship around his waist."You got the Women’s World. You got the Men’s World, and you got this one, and I think out of all the people in the company, I think I am the most marketable. I am the most profitable. I am the most interchangeable one, along with whether it’s pop culture, whatever it is, I’m the most marketable and this title is the prettiest one," said Ricochet.
