The Icon made his in-ring retirement last year at AEW Revolution. He finished his time with the promotion with a flawless win-loss record and put on one more legendary performance alongside his mentee, Darby Allin. He recently appeared at WrestleDream to come to Allin's aid during his fight with Jon Moxley and the Death Riders.

Sting has taken to social media to announce that he was now in the latter stages of his final tour in which he would be wearing his iconic face paint. He revealed that before 2025 ends, he'll be attending 11 more events, including several wrestling conventions and signing events in different parts of the country.

During a recent interview with amNewYork, Tony Khan spoke about a conversation he had with the legend right before The Icon headed out for his retirement match. He mentioned that these were words he'd never forget and were the highlight of the night for him.

"Before Sting went out for his last match, as they were showing the video package, and as his sons were about to make their entrances and they were on the stage, that was really special. Sting said some very nice things to me right before he went out that I’ll never forget about how fantastic his run had been, and how happy he was about all this and the things he said afterwards. That was really probably the highlight," said Khan. [H/T: amNewYork]
