AEW champion and top star Mercedes Mone is gearing up to defend one of her dozen belts on an upcoming All Elite Wrestling show. The former WWE superstar took to social media a while earlier to send out a message ahead of the title bout in question.

Mercedes Mone made history last month at WrestleDream 2025, where she broke Ultimo Dragon's legendary record of holding ten belts simultaneously by capturing her eleventh championship, defeating Mina Shirakawa for her Interim ROH Women's World TV Title. The CEO added on to that accomplishment the very next day by winning her 12th belt, beating Jody Threat at a Winnipeg Pro-Wrestling show to become the new WPW Women's Champion.

Mercedes' set of titles include belts from around the world and spanning a number of promotions, including CMLL's World Women's Championship, which she got her hands on by defeating Zeuxis earlier this year at AEW Grand Slam Mexico. Mone has mounted successful defenses of the title against La Catalina and Persephone, and will be putting it on the line against Olympia this Saturday on Fright Night Collision. Ahead of the program, just a few hours ago, the erstwhile Sasha Banks took to X/Twitter to send a message to her followers and hype up her upcoming championship showdown.

It remains to be seen whether Olympia will be able to pick up her second AEW win over "Ultimo" Mone on Collision.

Mercedes Mone attacked her AEW Full Gear 2025 opponent

This past Wednesday on Fright Night AEW Dynamite, Mercedes Mone ambushed Kris Statlander backstage for humiliating her a week earlier during her scheduled in-ring celebration. The Boss blindsided the reigning AEW Women's World Champion, but the latter briefly gained the upper hand while the two were fighting their way to the ring. However, before Stat could get her hands on Mercedes inside the squared circle, the latter's new tag partner Athena showed up to help "12 Belts" Mone. The two participants of the ongoing Women's World Tag Team Title Tournament laid out The Galaxy's Greatest Alien with a Backstabber-O-Face combination.

Ultimately, it was Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale who made the save for the champ. It remains to be seen if The Minion Overlord will help Mercedes Mone win the AEW Women's Title from Statlander at Full Gear 2025.
