Mercedes Mone reacts to Tony Khan's huge announcement

Tony Khan just made a huge announcement. Mercedes Mone has reacted to this news.

Mone has been on a title-collecting spree ever since she joined AEW. It started with the TBS Championship and has grown into something much bigger. Mone now holds several belts across multiple promotions around the world. She recently added another title to her collection when she defeated Red Velvet to become the ROH Women's World TV Champion on the 19th November episode of Collision. It looks like she is gearing up for her first title defense very soon.

Tony Khan recently announced that the former Sasha Banks will defend the ROH Women's World TV Title at Final Battle 2025 against Red Velvet. Following this announcement, The CEO posted a picture of the match poster on her Instagram Stories.

Dutch Mantell is not a fan of Mercedes Mone

Mone has established herself as one of the top stars in women's wrestling. However, she has often come under scrutiny for her promo and mic skills.

During an episode of Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the former WWE manager said he cringes when he hears Mercedes talk during interviews. He also made it clear that he prefers Toni Storm and Saraya.

"Hey when [Mercedes] Mone does an interview, I cringe. I'm going, 'God, terrible'. It just looks like memorized and she just recites the lines and there's nothing between either one of 'em [Mercedes Mone & Britt Baker]. I much prefer Toni Storm and all the rest of those guys and Saraya because they at least put some life into it, Mone does nothing." [From 01:32:27 to 01:33:02]
