Despite holding their title, the TBS Champion had yet to wrestle in the promotion.Tonight, Mercedes Mone wrestled her first match in Ring of Honor. She faced Lovely Miss Larkin in her debut match. In the closing moments of the bout, the CEO made her submit after holding her in a rear-naked choke.Mercedes Mone couldn't win her 15th championship at Full GearThe CEO has captured 14 titles over the past two years. However, she is unable to grab the AEW Women's World Championship. She faced 'Timeless' Toni Storm at the 2025 All In: Texas when the latter held the top title. The TBS Champion lost the match by a small margin. This was also her first-ever loss in the Jacksonville-based promotion. All In: Texas wasn't the only time she tried to capture the title.At the 2025 Full Gear, Mercedes Mone challenged current AEW Women's World Champion Kris Statlander. The CEO was confident going into the match, having defeated Statlander at last year's Full Gear. Many fans believed that Ultimo Mone might actually win the women's world title. However, in a nail-biting match, Kris emerged victorious and retained the championship. This was Mercedes' second-ever loss in the company.It will be interesting to see what goes down at Final Battle tomorrow when Mone and Velvet lock horns in a rematch.
