AEW star Mercedes Mone recently faced a major setback in Tony Khan's promotion. That seems to have caused a ripple effect for her, as she shockingly low-blowed a male colleague in the Jacksonville-based promotion out of frustration. Interestingly, the CEO appears to have taken a page out of Liv Morgan's recent fiasco at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025. This Saturday at ROH Final Battle, Mercedes Mone defended her ROH Women's TV Title against former champion Red Velvet. After some slick back-and-forth action, it was Velvet who regained her championship by rolling up the CEO for the pin and the win, leaving the live crowd and the world watching stunned. The loss meant the reigning TBS champion was back to 12 titles. Meanwhile, on Collision, Mone, who seemed a little off during a backstage interview following the incidents at Final Battle, was set to defend the AEW TBS title against Leila Gray on the show. The CEO retained her title after submitting Gray via the Statement Maker. However, right after the bout, she low-blowed Gray's manager and AEW star Christopher Daniels. After Gray tapped out, Mone kept the submission hold and only released it after Daniels intervened, only to be kicked in the nuts by the erstwhile Sasha Banks. Interestingly, the action came shortly after Liv Morgan kicked John Cena in the nuts to help Dominik Mysterio win back the Intercontinental Championship at WarGames 2025.Mercedes Mone set for title defense outside AEW nextFollowing her setback at ROH Final Battle, Mercedes Mone will switch her focus to the RevPro Uprising event, scheduled for December 14. That night, the CEO will defend her Undisputed British Championship against Riho. Interestingly, both stars have already exchanged words on X, with Riho criticizing Mone's loss at Final Battle, while the CEO told her to keep her mouth shut."The downfall has begun!!!
