For those who don't know, Bad Bunny has been a self-professed pro-wrestling fan for quite some time. The music megastar was able to realize his dream by joining WWE, where he is recognized as a celebrity wrestler. Bunny made his debut at WrestleMania 37, teaming up with Damian Priest to face the Miz and John Morrison. His performance in that match received praise from many. Currently, Benito has not appeared on World Wrestling Entertainment programming since Backlash 2023, and during his hiatus, he gained attention by making an appearance at a recent CMLL event in Mexico, where he was spotted ringside wearing the mask of popular Mexican wrestler and CMLL star Mistico. Benito was seemingly trying to keep a low profile.

What makes it even more interesting is that CMLL has a working partnership with AEW. Therefore, Bunny's appearance in a promotion that is a direct rival of Stamford-based promotion is an intriguing development to say the least.

WWE legend Mark Henry once called Bad Bunny the greatest celebrity wrestler of all time.

A few years back, when Bad Bunny was in a feud with his longtime friend Damian Priest in WWE, Mark Henry made a bold statement about the superstar, claiming he's the greatest celebrity wrestler of all time. Henry, who was working for AEW at the time, discussed this on Busted Open Radio, where he said:

“Bad Bunny is the greatest, the absolute – no peers whatsoever – greatest celebrity wrestler of all time. There’s nobody close. […] He a d*mn celebrity. He not trained to be a wrestler.” [16:30 - 17:07]

It remains unclear when fans will see the Grammy-winning star next on World Wrestling Entertainment programming.
