Marina Shafir may have subtly confirmed the future of Death Riders in AEW

The Death Riders will go to war in a brutal matchup this week on AEW Dynamite. One of the group's foremost members, Marina Shafir, has now seemingly teased the potential future of the stable.

The Death Riders have continued to terrorize the All Elite Wrestling locker room despite the blow the faction suffered when its leader, Jon Moxley, submitted to Darby Allin in their "I Quit" match at WrestleDream 2025.

The group is gearing up to battle the babyface unit of Allin, Roderick Strong, and the Conglomeration in a Blood and Guts match this coming Wednesday on AEW Dynamite. Members of both teams squared off last week in a best-of-three series to determine which side would have the advantage entering the bout.

After Claudio Castagnoli beat Orange Cassidy, and then Darby Allin tied the score by submitting Daniel Garcia on Dynamite last Wednesday, Jon Moxley took on Roderick Strong on Collision this past Saturday. However, he suffered a shocking count-out loss due to the interference of Allin, giving his side the advantage for Blood and Guts.

Following on the heels of AEW Collision, Marina Shafir took to X/Twitter to post a photograph of the Death Riders doing a group huddle in the middle of the ring.

The nature of the picture, its timing, and the arc of the faction's ongoing storyline could hint at either a potential split or an imminent betrayal, with the group possibly set to turn on Mox after this coming Wednesday.

The latter angle is likely because Moxley has lost much of his on-screen edge over the past several months, which could lead to his soldiers ejecting him from their ranks.

One of the Death Riders will participate in another historic bout on AEW Dynamite

While the Death Riders will be performing in the fifth iteration of the Men's Blood and Guts match this week on AEW Dynamite, the episode will also present the Women's edition of the violent bout for the first time.

After months of chaos and hostilities, the team of Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Jamie Hayter, Mina Shirakawa, Toni Storm, and Women's World Champion Kris Statlander will take on the alliance of The Triangle of Madness, Megan Bayne, TBS Champion Mercedes Mone, and Marina Shafir of the Death Riders inside the double steel cage structure to settle things.

Shafir will also team up with The Megasus in the ongoing AEW Women's World Tag Team Title Tournament. The duo is scheduled to face TayJay in their first-round matchup.
