The former AEW Women's World Champion Jamie Hayter has been announced for an event outside Tony Khan's promotion. She last competed in the first-ever women's Blood and Guts match two weeks ago.Jamie Hayter has been wrestling in AEW since the year of the company's inception, 2019. She has been competing on the UK indies since 2015 and is still occasionally active there. The former Women's World Champion was in the women's Blood and Guts match last time on All Elite TV two weeks ago, where her team lost.Meanwhile, Jamie Hayter has been announced for an upcoming event outside of the Tony Khan-led promotion. It was recently announced that Hayter will be appearing on the UK's EVE wrestling show, Let's Slam Santa, on December 5. Jamie will team with Session Moth Marina to take on the team of RHIO and Alexis Falcon at the event.Jamie will be returning to the EVE promotion for the first time since her last appearance there back in February.Jamie Hayter on her injury that caused a long AEW hiatusJamie Hayter was one of the top stars in AEW before she suffered an injury in May 2023. The injury kept her out of action for more than a year before she finally returned at All In 2024. In an interview with Justin Burasso earlier this year, Jamie detailed her injury, saying she wouldn't wish it on her worst enemy:"It was an incredibly difficult time,” said Hayter. "I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. The only thing I could do for long periods of time was sit on my stomach. When I got hurt, I didn’t know what it was. I was still training and wrestling at first. After a while, I couldn’t stand up straight. I was in excruciating pain. I couldn’t even get out of bed for PT," said Hayter.It remains to be seen when Jamie will be back on AEW TV.
