In late September, Hologram was set to be featured in a feud with Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship, but this was suddenly scrapped due to a legitimate knee injury. The promotion revealed that this would likely keep him out for the rest of the year.

The luchador has taken to social media to reveal that he had already successfully undergone surgery for this. He posted a video showing the aftermath of the procedure, and how it marked the start of his rehabilitation to heal and get back into in-ring shape. He had a positive outlook on the situation and was looking to bounce back from this setback.

Hologram's undefeated streak in AEW was set to come to an end

Currently, Hologram is still on an impressive undefeated streak, winning 34 of his past matches. These include singles, tag team, and multi-man matches. It appeared that AEW was planning to have Kyle Fletcher end this streak, as the two were set to clash for the TNT Championship.

Last month, Dave Meltzer reported on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the one who was supposed to end the luchador's streak was El Clon. After several hints, he was supposed to make his debut and take out Hologram, beginning their feud.

Following his sudden injury, Orange Cassidy stepped in to fill in for his Conglomeration ally, as he was the one who faced Kyle Fletcher for the TNT title. That same night, El Clon made his AEW debut, costing Cassidy his match and becoming an official member of The Don Callis Family.

With Hologram still out of action, it seems that El Clon is on ice, and the current plans for him are to continue flanking his new faction. It remains to be seen whether the company will book him for a feud in the meantime, setting up his official in-ring debut.
