Former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley is a participant in the ongoing 2025 Continental Classic tournament. He defeated Mascara Dorada in his first match this week. His next opponent is going to be a former WWE Champion. Next week, Moxley is going to lock horns with his Death Riders' brother, Claudio Castagnoli, after over eight years. Just like the former Dean Ambrose, he has wrestled one match in the tournament so far and won it. He defeated Orange Cassedey on the latest episode of Dynamite. Moxley vs. Castagnoli is going to be an interesting bout. Both stars are familiar with each other's movesets, and there is a strong possibility that it will be brutal. The Purveyor of Violence recently delivered a backstage promo. In this video, he sent a message to the former WWE United States Champion. The 39-year-old knows that he and his teammate are built differently. He is quite certain that their upcoming match will deliver. "I don't know any other way. This is just how I'm built. This is just how my team is built," said Moxley. Former WWE star David Otunga says that Jon Moxley will never leave AEW Jon Moxley was under WWE's banner for almost a decade. He was a member of the beloved Shield faction and held the WWE Championship twice. Thousands of fans want him to go back to his previous company. However, in a recent conversation with TMZ's Inside the Ring, wrestling legend David Otunga said that it is unlikely that the former Dean Ambrose will ever rejoin the Stamford-based company because they won't allow him to have death matches. "Oh, this guy does death matches. This is where he came from… And so now, seeing him do this like this is clearly what he wants. This fits him. I don’t think WWE would ever let him do anything close to that. So I don’t see him going back to WWE. I don’t see why”, Otunga said.Only time will tell what the future holds for Jon Moxley. For the time being, it looks like he is AEW through and through.
