Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has been rumored to have done bizarre things during his time in professional wrestling. Amidst speculation about sleeping with another legendary male star, AEW commentator Jim Ross chose to shut down the ongoing discussion.
The aforementioned legend is Shawn Michaels. WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart recently looked back at the infamous Montreal Screwjob back in 1997. The night saw him getting screwed out of the WWE title by Vince McMahon, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and others, as he was leaving the company for WCW. During that conversation, Hart said that he believed that HBK and McMahon were close to having a sexual relationship.
In the recent edition of his podcast, Grillin with JR, Jim Ross dismissed Hart’s comments. According to him, The Hitman was only trying to stir up a conversation that could be talked about, but he himself didn’t think what he said about McMahon and Michaels was true.
“That’s great. That’s hilarious. Bret knows how to push the buttons, man. That’s all he’s doing. It’s all he’s doing. And it’s working because we’re talking about it among others…That’s bullsh*t. Shawn in that era, at that point in that time, he was in a different mindset. He was a different guy. I don’t think he believes what he just said. I think he just stirred [crap up].” [H/T TJR Wrestling]
