Former TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher recently got candid about his life as a top pro-wrestling star at the age of 26. The Protostar has been a mainstay of the AEW mid-card division for the past year. After making an impact as a tag team wrestler, Fletcher has shone in the top AEW card. His performance against stars like Hangman Page, Dustin Rhodes, and Mark Briscoe makes him a future main-eventer for the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Speaking on MAXimum Rock, Fletcher said that it has been pretty challenging for him in AEW for the past year. The 26-year-old added that he is learning the means of being a top star, and he has a long way to go. But for now, he is totally focused on his wrestling to an extent where he has no time for other activities in his life.

"Being 26 years old, this is all new to me and it all still feels very new to me. I’m really just trying to- I’m trying to figure it out as I go, really, right? So yeah, it’s been my dream my whole life to be in this spot and I’m so grateful to be in the position I am, but it is really hard. It consumes my entire life. I don’t have time for a social life. I don’t have time for other things. I go home and all I want to do is lay on the couch because I’m exhausted," said Fletcher. [H/T: Fightful]

In the same conversation on MAXimum Rock, Fletcher said that his love for professional wrestling is the only thing that keeps him driving towards the hard work in his life. The 26-year-old called it his dream life and added that he will not stop until he makes it to the top in the wrestling business.

"So it’s like- it’s all these things and it’s all very hard and it becomes very overwhelming when you think about all the pressure that it brings as well as that. But all that is to say, I am living my dream right now. I would not have it any other way. I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. I’m not gonna stop working as hard as I’m working because I love it and I love the grind and I love every single part of it," said Fletcher. [H/T: Fightful]

With that said, Kyle has been thriving in AEW. He defeated Kazuchika Okada recently to score three points in the Continental Classic.
