AEW just had an end-of-an-era moment. Following this, a 37-year-old star confirmed he is not retiring.
Ever since AEW first launched in 2019, the company has started several weekly shows such as Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision. One of the shows that Tony Khan's company launched was called Hey!(EW). This was the company's weekly podcast hosted by RJ City. Every week, he would bring in a talent and interview them. The first episode launched on the company's YouTube channel in 2022.
During the latest episode of Hey!(EW), RJ City confirmed that this was the final episode of the show, marking the end of an era. He said that the show took a toll on him. He also confirmed that he is not retiring and will still continue to "host stuff" with Renee Paquette.
"It has been the honor of my life to come here every Sunday and be Pat McAfee's warrior. But this show is draining. In the span of four years, you've seen me go from young Bret Hart to current Bret Hart. Now, I'm not retiring. I'm sure I'll still host stuff with Renee, especially since I write everything for her. It's a real Simon and Garfuncle situation. No, but now I'll have the time to devote to what I'm really passionate about. Developing young careers."
