The aforementioned star, who is also a former NXT Women's Champion, is Shayna Baszler. The Queen of Spades had been a dominant force inside the squared circle with a remarkable run in NXT, yet her full potential was never realised on the main roster.

Baszler was released from the company in May 2025; however, she briefly returned in a backstage role. Outside the Stamford-based promotion, Baszler recently won the Women's World Championship in Boca Raton Championship Wrestling at an event in Florida on November 2.

Shayna Baszler spoke about one of her biggest regrets after her departure from WWE

Shayna Baszler revealed one of her biggest regrets after being released from WWE. In an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, the former NXT Women's Champion believed that she and Nia Jax carried the tag team division during the pandemic and wanted that run to happen in front of a live audience.

"Everyone talks about like Sasha [Banks] and Bayley doing all three brands and carrying the COVID era, but [Nia and me] were on all three shows carrying that tag division. We were on every show. And I really wish, if there is like one huge regret, I really wish it was that would have been in front of fans or we could have gone back to that and see how they would have reacted," Baszler said.

As Shayna Baszler continues to navigate life after WWE, it remains to be seen what the future holds for her.
