The Mogul's comeback was impactful as he helped former rival Hangman Page, who was at the mercy of Samoa Joe and the Opps. On Dynamite last night, Strickland and the Anxious Perennial Cowboy teamed up to confront Joe and the Opps. They even strangled two members of the Opps dojo with steel chains to send a message to the Samoan Submission Machine, who watched from the stage. Later, the New Flavor posted an image from the incident on X, calling it sick and twisted. The post caught the attention of former WWE Intercontinental and United States Champion Ricochet. The reigning AEW National Champion mocked Strickland's post in his comment by calling him and Page "dumb and dumber." Evans has received praise from many pro wrestling personalities and recently even caught the attention of Swerve Strickland. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, the Mogul praised Evans for his skills and said he's better now than he was then."It's not an insult to say Je'Von Evans is better than Swerve. I'm like, “Yes, he is. At 21 years old, he is better.” I have more intangibles because I've learned those things on the Indies, but he’s currently in the WWE system now at 21. He's supposed to be better, because who was he watching? He was watching myself. He's told me to my face. He's watched me and Lio Rush and guys like that. He took it to the next level, which is what we did. Ricochet watched the same guys. He watched Rey Mysterio and took it to the next level, because that's what evolution is supposed to be."
