AEW recently had one of its most brutal Blood and Guts events last Wednesday. Now, a top star who took part in the match has given a major health update ahead of this week's Dynamite.
On the November 12 edition of Dynamite, AEW hosted the 2025 edition of one of its most traditionally intense bouts, Blood and Guts. On the men's side, it was the Conglomeration with Roderick Strong and Darby Allin, facing the Death Riders. The match was as vicious as expected, marked by insanely gruesome spots, including a place in which Conglomeration star Orange Cassidy's hands were stapled to his own pockets. Cassidy's team went on to win the bout. In a recent interview with Adrian Hernandez, the "Freshly Squeezed" star discussed the experience of that match and shared details about his health following the gruesome fight.
“I’m pretty beat up and bruised...I still have- I don’t know if you could say, but I have like holes in my hand from where Jon Moxley stapled me. It’s like my whole (fist) it just doesn’t clench of the same. So that doesn’t feel great,” said Cassidy [H/T: Fightful]

Orange Cassidy refutes ex-WWE star claiming Logan Paul is better than the AEW roster
In a different part of the interview, Cassidy was asked about a recent controversial claim made by former WWE talent Stevie Richards, who, while speaking on The Stevie Richards Show, said Logan Paul is better than everyone in the Jacksonville-based promotion. The "Freshly Squeezed Star" outright refuted Richards' claim, stating:
“Uh, no, absolutely not. That Logan Paul is better than the entire AEW roster?! I think Logan Paul is good. I think he’s doing very well for his limited experience and stuff. You know, you just get angry at people like that who just go in and do it, make it look great effortlessly. But he’s not better than the AEW roster at all." [H/T: ringsidenews]
