A Death Riders member was involved in a brutal spot during AEW Blood & Guts. A former WWE champion has now given his honest opinion on this spot.Nic Nemeth is the latest to comment on the Women's Blood & Guts match, which took place this week. The match saw Marina Shafir, Megan Bayne, Mercedes Mone, and the Triangle of Madness team up against Harley Cameron, Jamie Hayter, Kris Statlander, Mina Shirakawa, Toni Storm, and Willow Nightingale. This bout had plenty of brutal spots. During the contest, Marina Shafir intentionally stomped on pieces of broken glass just so she could use her feet as a weapon.Speaking on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Nic Nemeth was all praise for the match. He especially mentioned the spot involving Marina and the broken glass, saying that it made an absolute statement. He also praised the finish of the match, which told a nice story."And then you got blood everywhere, broken glass. Marina Shafir stomping on broken glass with her bare foot to rub it into her foot before she kicks somebody. And I'm like, 'Holy s**t.' I'm like, 'This is an absolute statement,' and ending it with a story. Yes. The story is there, but finally going, we are going to make our top baby face sit there and watch her best friend or whatever the situation is, be tortured until she has to end it. Like, will she do it? Won't she? That's great because there's so many times you can have all the gore and the blood and craziness. And then you just get to a crazy ending and everything just, and you get the bed of nails and broken glass. And then it's just like, that's a finish. I like when there's something there where you give us a moment of 'no, no, no, no. Oh, she has to.' And then that's how you get out of your seat. That's where that extra emotion is mixed in with the gore and the different match that you have locked inside that cage. I really liked it."Former WWE star Nic Nemeth revealed why he didn't join AEWWhen Nic Nemeth left WWE, it looked like he would join AEW since Tony Khan is known for hiring ex-WWE guys. However, that did not end up happening, and the former Dolph Ziggler wound up working for TNA Wrestling instead.During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Nic Nemeth revealed that he had conversations with Tony Khan, but he wasn't sure if his old style would fit what was required by the Jacksonville-based promotion."I've had a couple of conversations with Tony in the past, and I rooted for those guys every step of the way...It’s got so many moving parts that I don’t even know if I could fit my old style into it. I can adapt to anything, but if I had to remember a long, complex sequence like some of those matches, I’d probably lose the emotional flow and just focus on remembering spots," said the former WWE star.It will be interesting to see if Nic Nemeth will return to WWE in the future. If you use the quote from the first half of the article, then link back to the source with an H/T to Sportskeeda Wrestling.
