A former AEW Women's Champion has recalled an instance of a former colleague conducting himself abhorrently towards her early on in her career. The star in question, Thunder Rosa, was reacting to Becky Lynch's headline-making recent remarks about a main roster WWE talent allegedly exploiting and blacklisting talent from the women's locker room.

During her appearance on Bert Kreischer's YouTube channel some time earlier, The Man recounted a shocking story involving an unnamed main roster WWE Superstar whom she had been warned about. The talent in question would supposedly pursue intimate relationships with performers from the women's division and would even blacklist them afterwards, regardless of the other individual's response.

Thunder Rosa shared her thoughts on Lynch's narrative on a recent edition of Busted Open Radio by bringing up a disgraceful incident she had experienced herself early on in her career. The beloved former AEW Women's World Champion recalled an unnamed male talent touching her without her consent, and her responding to it with appropriate rage.

"It happened to me one time, when I was really, really young in the business, and one guy was just being funny, I guess, and he touched me without my permission," Rosa said. "I went off on him in front of everybody, and then he thought I was crazy." [H/T - Wrestling Inc]

The prevalence of harassment against female performers in the pro-wrestling industry has been brought into the light of relatively closer scrutiny in recent years, especially following the Speaking Out movement from a few years ago.

Thunder Rosa seems to be drawing nearer to her AEW return

Thunder Rosa has been missing from action since unsuccessfully participating in the Women's Casino Gauntlet Match at AEW All In: Texas earlier this year. While on hiatus, La Mera Mera has been training for her in-ring comeback, and in a recent Instagram story, the star offered an update on her health and ongoing preparation, stating:

“Like I said, I’m training for my comeback. Once again, it’s all good – it’s 80 degrees in Texas. I trained for an hour and started sweating 20 minutes in. Thanks to Melissa, she’s one of my strength and conditioning trainers. She’s freaking awesome.” [H/T RSN]
