A top AEW star is set to compete in a huge match on Dynamite. Ahead of this match, he has broken character to praise another star.

Kyle Fletcher has established himself as a rising star in AEW ever since he joined the Don Callis Family. He also has some notable wins under his belt. Fletcher even won the TNT Championship earlier this year. Now, he has the chance to win the Continental Classic Tournament. He will be competing in a Continental Classic Tournament match against Kevin Knight this week on Dynamite.

Ahead of this match, Kyle Fletcher was interviewed by Zach Johnson of 93.5 MAX Classic Rock. The former TNT Champion broke character to praise his opponent, Kevin Knight, saying that the latter is in the same position he was a few years ago.

“I think Kevin is so cool. He’s a special talent, man. He’s so capable, it feels like he is in the spot that I was in a few years ago. He’s just coming to AEW, part of a great tag team. Kyle Fletcher commented on being a rising star in AEW

Kyler Fletcher has been a standout on the AEW roster in recent months. He has delivered some amazing performances against Hangman Page, Mark Briscoe, and Will Ospreay. Fletcher is more than living up to his reputation of being a rising star.

During the same interview, the AEW star said he's dreamt of being in this spot his entire life. He also noted that this consumes his entire life.

"Being 26 years old, this is all new to me and it all still feels very new to me. I’m really just trying to- I’m trying to figure it out as I go, really, right? So yeah, it’s been my dream my whole life to be in this spot and I’m so grateful to be in the position I am, but it is really hard. It consumes my entire life. I don’t have time for a social life.
