Will Ospreay has just received some major criticism from a popular wrestling veteran following his absence from AEW. They have also called him out following his recent fight with injuries.

The Aerial Assassin has not been seen in the ring since Forbidden Door back in August, where he competed in the Lights Out Steel Cage match against the Death Riders. He has been on a hiatus due to neck issues caused by two herniated discs. He has already gotten surgery for this and is currently on his road to recovery.

Recently, a clip of some teenagers doing wrestling moves in their home went viral. They even pulled off some risky maneuvers with objects they could find, but they were enjoying each moment. Will Ospreay has replied to this and mentioned how he fully supported their fun.

Jim Cornette has reacted to this, calling out Ospreay for condoning it while he himself was dealing with injuries from wrestling. He criticized him for not being a good example to these kids.

Tony Khan hopes Will Ospreay will be back in AEW soon

“Will Ospreay is gonna be back in AEW early next year, and I hope it will be in the first half of next year. When Will is on the show every week, it's great for us,” said Khan.

Tony Khan's great optimism about his recovery is a good sign, suggesting his progress has been better than initially anticipated. With a lot changing since Ospreay's absence, it remains to be seen where he will slot into this stacked division.
