Chris Jericho has been a mainstay on AEW TV for the past couple of years now. He was the inaugural World Champion and even won the ROH World Title a few times. However, he has been absent from TV for the past few months. This has fueled speculation that perhaps Jericho was returning to WWE to finish his wrestling career.

Adam's Apple NYC recently caught up with Tony Khan and asked him what's next for Jericho. The AEW boss said that he wants the former WWE star to finish his career in his company whenever that time comes.

“We love having Chris in AEW, and I would say that absolutely, I would love it if Chris’ final matches eventually — whenever Chris someday would want to hang it up — were in AEW. But I also don't think Chris is really near that point. He's had a great run with us. He continues to be a big part of AEW, and I love Chris. In and out of the ring.” [H/T WrestlePurists on X]

"Since I was 12 years old, I would count Chris among my very favorite wrestlers for the past 30 years, and I'm very fortunate to work with him. So if and when the time presents itself, hopefully, would love to have Chris back, and I think the world of him, and Chris Jericho's always in the highest of standing with me and with AEW and ROH, where he has been a great champion, a great ambassador, a great leader and a great friend to all of us, and Chris Jericho's a huge part of our companies here."[H/T WrestleTalk on X]

It will be interesting to see when Jericho will return to the ring.
