An AEW name has just revealed that Tony Khan directly pulled the plug on his popular show. The individual explained what happened to cause TK to suddenly do this.
RJ City announced that his YouTube exclusive show, Hey! (Ew) was going to be airing its final episode. The show gained massive popularity as various individuals, both from AEW and other major companies, have made appearances, and fans have gotten to see a different side of them.
To open up the episode, RJ explained why it was the final episode. He revealed that Tony Khan had this cancelled after finding out he was funding the show. Khan initially believed that WBD was in charge of this.
“Welcome to Hey! (EW). I am RJ City, and my guest is nobody, because this is the final episode. Why? Multiple reasons. One, once Tony Khan found out he was actually paying for the show and it was not a WBD college-credited internship like I initially claimed, he pulled the plug faster than you could say Rampage. I guess a sign and two mugs is too much for the budget."

He continued by finally revealing the reason why he did not have an All-Elite graphic. City revealed that this was because Tony Khan did not want to be held liable for anything that happened in Hey! (Ew). Lastly, RJ City also mentioned how he was now at the end of his guest list for the show.
"Oh, and he also told me the reason I don’t have an All Elite graphic is because if he officially employed me, then he would be held liable for the things that happened to me on this show. Shrewd move, TK. Two. We’ve come to the end of the guest list. We are down to the nos and the a**holes and many of them are both." [H/T Fightful]
RJ City was attacked by another popular AEW personality
Later on in the show, chaos was abounding as several individuals got involved to end the episode. At one point in the show, Renee Paquette got tired of RJ City's antics and suddenly attacked him, even telling him to just shut up. This was all done in kayfabe, but it was interesting to see a different side to Renee.
After this, Tony Khan came out as well to gloat, as he claimed that things like this were the reason why RJ had no AEW graphic. The cherry on top was the real guest of the episode finally arriving. This was Mercedes Moné.
This was an interesting episode, but unfortunately, all good things come to an end. Fans can still catch RJ City's various interviews with AEW individuals on the company's YouTube Channel.
